Historically a forum was a marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city. The history of the traditional Roman forum evokes images of philosophers, senators, and emperors engaging with the citizens of Rome and the citizens of Rome making their voices heard. Well, our Forums may not be as grand but their is indoor plumbing and heating and coffee, so I think we’ve got them beat.
